Wedding Bells

As my sister so wisely stated in her toast to my Dad on his wedding, "It's not every day a girl gets to go to the wedding of her father." And what a day it was. Dad and Lou Ann planned a lovely, family-focused wedding that allowed us to get to know the Brach family and for them to get to know the Bucheimers. We wish them many happy days to follow this one.

Peter is too cool for his own good in these duds.

Jacob is working hard on those bubbles.

The ring bearer, Nicholas.

Chris is having an easier time with the bubbles.

The crew: some of my nieces and nephews.

My sister, Ria, and Mike.

Exiting the church.

The bride and groom. They were very polite with the cake.

I don't think any of us were ready for this shot, but it's rare to get all my brothers and sisters in the same picture.

Lou Ann's children on the left, Dad's on the right. The combined family.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Bucheimer share their first dance.

My brother, David, and Lisa.

Nat and Chris looking very cheerful.

Shawn and me looking very close to the camera. Jacob took this one (and a lot of the others, actually).

The Charlottesville gang (minus Jacob).
