Times Square Dudes
We showed up in New York around midnight last Thursday evening, spent Friday hitting the high points of the city, including, among other places, the Empire State Building (our choice) and Toys 'R Us in Times Square (the kids' choice), and crashed at my sister's cozy apartment in Astoria. Saturday morning saw us heading for Cape Cod. It was a whirlwind, but as always in the Big Apple with Ria - such an amazing time.

These two think they own the place. And for a day, they did.
More pictures from New York are here.
You'd never know they were country boys, the way they navigated the Queens streets on their bikes.
Like last time, the subway was a big hit. As an added bonus, the trains were the only spot to cool off in the city that day.
I'm not sure the kids thought the views were quite worth the almost 3 hr wait to get to the top, but someday they'll thank us, right?

Cagninas, Times Square style.
