Piney River
The fall has brought with it school, soccer, visits from the boys' cousins and family (somehow we have no pictures of that), and just enjoying various aspects of where we live. One thing we were able to do is get out for a camping trip with some of our friends, and here are some pictures of that trip. Our destination was this perfect little spot in the George Washington National Forest, the same area I posted about here. It's becoming another one of our favorites.
This was the clan. Not a great picture, but I'll blame that on them being exhausted and not wanting to sit still long enough to be in the same frame. They all got along great and had an amazing time, but they were awake before 5am. Needless to say, that was a bummer for the grown-ups.
Even dirty and tired, Emma is a darling. As the only girl with four boys and the youngest of the set, she had to work hard to keep up. But don't underestimate this one.
Just hanging out in the creek, their favorite activity. You can't really tell, but they are drenched from head to toe from playing in the water all morning. Thankfully, the weather was gorgeous.
